The Memory of You, tells the timeless and challenging love story of two hearing-impaired young people, spanning from the 1980s to the 2000s. The story begins with the birth of Baha, the son of Adem and Zehra, a couple who married in secret. Baha loses his hearing due to meningitis he suffered as a baby. Experiencing a much harsher and lonelier childhood than his peers, Baha’s life changes completely when he meets Leyla, who is also deaf and mute. Without the need for words, the two young people communicate through sign language and their hearts, quickly forming a deep bond of love. Leyla becomes a beacon of hope, helping Baha rediscover his world.

However, the happiness of this great love faces significant obstacles, including family pressure, societal prejudices, and fate’s harsh challenges. Despite all difficulties, the couple embraces their daughter Yeşim, the fruit of their love.
